Stripchat sets goal to score with Inter Milan football in $ 28million shirt offer

The name Pirelli has been synonymous with Internazionale (Inter Milan) for three decades.

Hundreds of millions of football fans around the world would have remembered the iconic scenes of 2010, when Inter stunned Europe to a hat-trick, ending with the 2010 UEFA Champions League title.

Right now, Inter are on the verge of breaking Juventus’ nine-season hegemony at the, and winning their first title since that 2009-10 season, which was the last of five consecutive crowns.

Basically they’re in a good position right now: on the verge of being champions and coming back to the Champions League next season.

It will be with a new shirt sponsor, as Pirelli is ending their 30-year contract.

Enter Stripchat.

One of the leading adult webcam companies, Stripchat has offered Inter $ 28 million to be their next shirt sponsor. The deal would give the company a new fan base, to accompany the already growing one it has, which has been aided by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here’s a question and answer session with the VP of New Media at Stripchat, Max Bennett, about the business and the company.

Why Inter specifically?

It has been reported that their contract with Pirelli is due to expire at the end of the season. Given their popularity right now – sitting atop the Serie A table – we thought it would make sense for us to jump into the mix and extend an offer. There is a lot of intersection between our basic demographics.

Is football something that would look good because of the visibility of the jersey?

Yes, that would give Stripchat visibility across the world. Inter is not only popular in Italy, but also in many other countries. It’s a wonderful opportunity for us.

I know you tried to sponsor the Superdome. Have you thought about other teams (Manchester United for example)?

It really depends on their sponsorship contract. But we are always looking for ways to generate visibility for our website.

There are so many game companies sponsoring jerseys (I think over 50-60% in some leagues). Obviously times are changing, so do you think people and league leaders will come to terms with that at some point?

I really hope! I can’t say on behalf of game companies, it’s not my field. However, I can give my comment on behalf of live streaming sites adopting new technology. At Stripchat, we are building an open-minded community that accepts people from all over the world to live stream and exchange opinions on our platform. Giving it better exposure means more opportunities for people to interact and use our platform.

People might not know how big your site is, but if you could just explain how great it is and is getting every year.

Stripchat attracts an average of over 240 million visitors per month from all over the world. Here’s a recent blog we posted to showcase our traffic and engagement.

Has the pandemic affected the numbers?

Indeed, we reported an overall traffic growth in 2020 having 906 181 416 total new users vs 537 938 778 in 2019, and it is worth saying that Americans have clearly taken a liking to, as 90% more users (160,340,612 versus 84,162,712) arrived on the platform in 2020 compared to 2019. You can check out the blog post mentioned above for more interesting data.

How did you use the crypto boom to help the business and the workers?

We are always looking to adopt better technologies and provide more convenient ways for our users to make payments. We recently announced that we are accepting Dogecoin.
