Ashley’s girlfriend and Azaylia’s mother, Safiyya Vorajee – who also continued to inform her followers about Azaylia’s condition – told her story that they had to take their daughter back to the hospital because that his heart rate was “over 200” beats per minute.

Ashley updated her supporters on Wednesday and said Azaylia was able to leave the hospital. Along with a video of the little girl in an ambulance, Ashley wrote, “Back home we go on a roller coaster ride of emotions and events.”
Safiyya also took her stories to Instagram on Wednesday, sharing that Azaylia is on oxygen because her breathing is “intense” and she “is having a little trouble”. Safiyya noted that oxygen helps Azaylia “sleep more comfortably”.
The latest trip follows another visit to the emergency room on Sunday, where she received an emergency platelet transfusion after her cancer caused extreme nosebleeds.
“Because of her blood cancer, it means that it eats away at the cells that help the blood to clot, so with the tumors, plus the lack of platelets in her body, that means she might bleed from the inside and it’s not possible for Azaylia to go, ”Ashley explained in her Instagram Stories on Sunday.
Safiyya revealed that the 30-minute transfusion did not stop the bleeding, so Azaylia was placed on an observing machine, allowing parents to monitor their baby’s oxygen and heart rate levels.

However, after returning home on Tuesday, Ashley said he was able to take Azaylia outside in the sun for the first time – unprotected – since birth.
“Today was the first time in the 8 months of fatherhood that I had the chance to walk down the street with my baby in my arms,” he captioned beautiful images of him- even holding Azaylia, above. “No hospital, no isolation, no pram with a protective cover … Just me and my baby, doing what a dad and a daughter should be able to do. When I tell you all of this I really mean it … what you have, cherish every moment and always be the best you can be for those you love. ❤️ “
Azaylia was diagnosed with cancer when she was just 2 months old and has been in treatment ever since. In the latest round of treatments, doctors found tumors all over the baby’s body and only gave him “days” to live. However, the parents remain optimistic and do everything possible to keep Azaylia comfortable.
“I wake up just in the morning and look at her and I feel so blessed that every morning I wake up with her and I have her there to hold and smile and sing our whole Jungle Book theme all day”, Safiyya explained in a post on his Instagram Stories.
“The number of times we sing this to her is mind blowing and I feel so happy that I can spend the day with her and play and love her as much as I can and tell her how much I love her,” she said. continued. “This stuff is so hard and so difficult but I’m going to make each day as happy, as fun and as playful as possible for her.”
“It’s absolutely heartbreaking, it feels like torture. It’s so difficult and so hard and the support you give us all is amazing, it’s amazing.”
